Revd Rachel Street

I have been a part of the church for a very long time – since I was a teen in the Youth Fellowship in the 1980s! Married to Jonathan, we have a grown-up family of 2 daughters and 2 sons. We both play in the music team, and I trained for ministry at Northern Baptist College. Previously I was a community pharmacist, and then a full-time foster carer.

I was ordained in September 2021, although I have been preaching and leading occasional services since 1997, and I love digging into the Bible and finding how along with the Spirit it speaks today, providing a welcome in church, and providing respite foster care.

In my spare time I like to walk in our beautiful countryside with the dog, and love to knit, read a good book or enjoy meals with family and friends.
