Jean Liney

I have been a part of the church for quite some time – since the early 1980’s.

Married to Tommy for 58 years, we have two grown up children, a boy & girl who between them have produced 3 grandchildren and one great grandchild.

I have been the Church secretary for as long as I can remember! I am also a member of the Millom Fairtrade team, Millom Foodbank volunteer & chief fundraiser for all the improvements on the building. I love spending time with my church family & praising God. I was the Manager at Millom Royal Mail until 2012 & am now enjoying my retirement, although I don’t know how I ever found time to go to work, I am so busy! I love gardening but after a knee replacement at the beginning of 2024, sadly I cannot do what I want to do in the church garden any more. I love the outdoors, wildlife & taking Tommy birdwatching, when I can.
